Dear Lawrence Families,
We are pleased to announce that the PTO, in collaboration with the Lawrence 8th grade class, will be offering on-site childcare during our upcoming Open House events this Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Childcare will be provided by 8th-grade Lawrence students and alumni with adult supervision present.
A donation of $10-20 per child is encouraged, and all donations will go toward the 8th grade's graduation fundraising efforts.
Please note that on Wednesday 9/25, the grade 3-8 Open Houses are for caregivers only. However, on Thursday 9/26, students in grades K-2 are permitted to accompany their caregivers to their Open House.
For those who require childcare, we kindly ask that only children who can toilet independently be left in the childcare service.
Since childcare slots are limited, we are prioritizing based on need, namely families with no or limited childcare options during these evenings. Our goal is to ensure that all families have the opportunity to engage fully with their child’s educators during these important face-to-face meetings.
If you are interested in securing a childcare spot, please fill out the Google form linked below. The deadline to register your child is tomorrow, Monday 9/23 at 9PM. We will notify families by Tuesday 9/24 at noon regarding availability.
